Roerdalen Horse Experience
The free-access, revamped obstacle course: Roerdalen Horse Experience, in the municipality of Roerdalen, is an attractive course for both professional and recreational horse riders and drivers. The obstacle course has three different sections for riders and drivers to practise their skills. There is no water obstacle on the course. The course is located on the corner of Verlengde Wijngaardstraat and Venweg in Herkenbosch, in an area that provides ample opportunities for horse riders and drivers. The course is, for example, located along the extensive horse riding and driving route network that offers various overnight accommodation options at which horses are welcome. Manege Venhof equestrian centre part of the 'Venhof' family business that has existed for 100 years, is just a 15-minute walk away. There’s no need to reserve a space or book in advance to use the obstacle course.
Trail
Trail is a way to build trust between a rider and their horse. Tackling challenges together enables your horse to learn to trust you as a rider. When you practice together, you learn to interact with your horse by talking to them, being patient and showing respect. You and your horse learn to overcome obstacles and build a good relationship.
Jumping
Jumping with your horse is a fun way to train your horse and the course offers various obstacles you can jump over. There is no water obstacle on the course.
Horse driving
Roerdalen Horse Experience also offers various options for drivers to drive around obstacles, providing great opportunities for all combinations to get a taste for obstacle driving. More experienced horse drivers will also find this course an excellent location for independent obstacle training. Always observe the safety rules.
