Equestrian sports for young and old
At Rijstal Venhof, equestrian sports take centre stage. Both children and adults can learn to ride or refresh their knowledge under expert and certified instruction. A large number of riding school horses of different sizes, breeds and educational levels are available for this purpose.
But Rijstal Venhof also offers the opportunity to stable private horses, and optimal exercise and training conditions are provided for these as well. In addition to training and taking the FNRS Ruiter- en Menbewijs exam, we also regularly organise small and large competitions as part of the FNRS F-tests.
Moreover, the adjoining De Meinweg National Park offers an extensive and well-maintained network of bridle paths for long outdoor rides. But even if you prefer to hitch up your horse and take the carriage on the road, Rijstal Venhof is just right for you.
Activities
Guided trail rides
What could be better than enjoying a beautiful ride through nature on a horse on a lovely sunny day! And especially when this nature reserve is located in De Meinweg. Would you like to go on a guided trail ride on our well-behaved riding school horses? Also suitable for beginners. Call or e-mail us for more information.
Covered wagon trip
Plan a covered wagon trip through the Meinweg. Our covered wagon seats 20 people, also suitable for wheelchairs. Want to add a picnic? That is possible. They will organise a fun day for your company outing or family party.
Brushing course
For little riders, there is a brush course every Saturday between 2 and 3 pm.
