Varied Route
From the parking lot you drive through the woods into Arcen estate. This nature reserve is very varied. You drive through the woods, along the dunes and encounter different waters. Because of this variety, many different species live here. For example, you will find many water birds in this area.
Break spot
At junction 62 you will come long catering establishment Jagersrust. This is a pancake house, but you can get plenty else here, too. You're about halfway through the route here, so this is an ideal break spot.
The route continues toward node 77 and the wooded area gives way to fields. You head south toward the outskirts of Venlo, but just before that the direction changes back to the north. Via the Venkoeler you arrive at the river Maas. Follow it to Hasselt. Across the Hasselderheide you ride back to the starting point.
