Route description Freedom trail through the Stramprooierbroek
From the starting point at Boshuis Nieuw Vosseven, follow narrow paths along the winding A-Beek (A-Brook). This stream forms a natural border and offers beautiful views along the way. The path takes you through the Stramprooierbroek, a unique wetland area known for its rich flora and fauna. Here you can spot birds along the way or simply enjoy the peace and sounds of nature. Further along, you pass the large ponds of Mariahof and de Luysen. These ponds are real attractions for water birds and offer a resting point to take a moment to contemplate the view. You will find that this route offers a perfect balance between active exercise and relaxation in nature.
Practical information
Suitable for: Walkers of all levels. Please note that some parts can be boggy, especially after rain. Waterproof shoes are recommended.
Accessibility: The route is well marked and easy to follow thanks to the clear signposting of KempenBroek.
